
Called to the Ontario Bar in 2008, Anne Levesque has represented clients before tribunals, courts (including the Supreme Court of Canada) and international bodies. She contributed to the landmark case advancing equality rights for First Nations children. She now holds the Gordon F. Henderson Chair in Human Rights and leads the Equality Rights Clinic. Active in advocacy, her research focuses on human rights, access to justice, and the role of children in legal processes. With Yvonne Peters, she leads the Council of Canadians with Disabilities’s (CCD) justice initiative.
