About International MCS Consortium

International MCS Consortium is a coalition of global equity-seeking organizations dedicated to securing equity, accessibility, and rightful accommodations for people affected by Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS).

MCS is already highly prevalent worldwide. With rising levels of pollution and limited scientific recognition, the number of individuals affected is expected to continue increasing. This coalition emerged from Resilience: An International Conference on Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and represents a shared commitment to speak with a unified voice for the future of MCS

What is the International MCS Consortium

Our mission is to:

  • Advance scientific research into the causes, mechanisms, and treatments for MCS.
  • Exchange knowledge on research and policy while addressing current barriers to accessibility.
  • Raise awareness among medical professionals, governments, and the public.
  • Support the development of evidence-based clinical guidelines and public health policies.
  • Provide a platform for patients, researchers, and advocates to share experiences and amplify their voices internationally.
  • Promote safer, healthier environments that reduce exposure to harmful chemicals.

Grounded in collective expertise and collaboration, International MCS Consortium is committed to breaking down barriers, reducing stigma, and creating a future where people with MCS are recognized, respected, and supported across the globe.
